"My wonderful experience at GAHD happened simply by fate. Here's my story, my sporty is 17 years old and I decided that instead of waiting 2 more years to buy a bike that now was the time. I had one day off and drove to Edmonton to a dealership where I had been buying parts and accessories and had seen the bike I wanted, but unfortunately they were closed, it was a day they were regularily open and it wasn't a holiday, I was distraught, I wanted to be an owner of a new FLSTFB by the end of the day. For me, going to the other dealership wasn't even an option, so I drove to Red Deer. From the moment I walked into the showroom I was treated like I never have been in a dealership before, I was amazed. I was greeted imediately and was given any and all information I needed. The best part was that I didn't even have to browse because the exact bike (even in colour) that I wanted was sitting right there. Darcy was extremely helpful and very friendly, making me feel very comfortable, which I really haven't experienced in other dealerships. Jill in the parts department was more than accomodating as well. I just have to say how glad I am that the dealership I drove two hours to get to was closed and even though I now have a three hour drive to visit for service, I am an extremely happy customer. "Right from the start when Al took the time to talk to (at that point) a tire kicker I felt like my business mattered. I decided to purchase a used Road King. Unfortunately, due to being extremely inseam challenged the bike just didn't fit. The staff helped me try out different bikes until I found one I could, with a couple of modifications, comfortably and safely ride. I fell in love with my 2011 Heritage Softail Classic on the first ride. Special thanks go to Al, Harley, Mike, Darcy, and Jill for service above and beyond. "My first experience with Red Deer Harley Davidson began at 8:30am Saturday morning where the staff were already gathering waiting for the 9am start of business. Everyone one was pleasant and smiling. Barry Raven was the first person to greet me into the service department for the Screamin' eagle race tuner and a front tire. My appointment at 9am proceeded professionally and respectively where even promised times of completion were also met with accuracy. Being in the service industry myself, this can be a difficult task. There was an abundance of communication of how the service work was progressing as well. Barry also offered to store my riding gear while I went for breakfast with some friends of mine.
Riding my Harley home was a totally refreshing experience as my Road King has never performed so well. The difference was so dramatic, if I heard this story from someone else I would have had the raised eyebrow look.
Everyone at the dealership even seemed to take an interest to me and took the time to even talk to me as watching all around the staff always had smiles and were positive and up beat.
That was one of my best service experiences I have had that I can remember. Thank you"

"I am one of those old codgers that believes in getting his moneys worth out of everything. I purchased an 09 ROADKING CLASSIC in 09 and soon after recieved notice of front tire recall, no big deal shit happens, but to my eyes the tire was still good, so i pushed it, wrong, on May 6,2011 I was returning home after a great 4 days in calgary, I got about 4 klicks south of Red Deer and my front end started doin the tango. I limped into GAHD approched Barry at the sevice counter asking for warranty work on my tire, not knowing me from Adam he asked his tire specialist about room to get me in, I wish i could remember his name, he took one look at my tire and told me I am not going any where, in 10 minuits flat he had my ride in the shop. Then i was informed of other warrenty work and fixed everything thanks to Tara, thier warrenty guru. Now heres the kicker, I didnt even purchase my ride from them, ladies and gentleman you want the meaning of service go to GAHD it will smack you in the face.....HARD my daughter will be buying from this buisness and I will be buying my trike from this buisness Oh by the way Barry made a follow up phone call next day to see if things went well the rest of my trip. Guys and Gals you are a milestone ALL buisneses should follow. thankyou and keep the rubber side down.

"I have had numerous motorcycles in my close to 40 years of riding. I have never in my motorcycle experience over the years have ever been treated this good. I heard the positive stories and rumors about Gasoline Alley Harley Davidson on how they treat there customers. In January 2011 I had the opportunity to experience it. I bought my first Harley 2011 Limited, my experience with GH has been outstanding.

Barry Whitlaw followed up on logistics and had an excellent support team in place. Carl kept our bikes rolling and we often looked to him for advice, Nick made sure the bikes got to and from Washington on time . With all the logistics and organization before and during the trip Steve & Brenda Sulz laid out another trip to remember, if i could only remember.

"was travelin through red deer headed south to BC... runnin on fumes lookin for a UFA gas station... well my wife got out of the passengers side of the truck... i thought she was going to clean the windshield... she grabbed me by my left ear and give it a yank and said look... the next thing i knew we were tryin to get in Gasoline Alley's Harley store... checkin my watch... dam too early... i was tempted to get the sleeping bag out... we waited for what seemed like a life time... 2 1/2 minutes... the door was unlocked and within 5 seconds we had Danny Williams backed into a corner and selling us a new bike... that was june 29th 2007 and its bin the best dam bike i have ever purchased... my first harley was a 1969 sportster... i have had several harleys in 38 years... but his 96" 6 speed will be with me forever... we are headed for Sturgis this year and i have no doubt that i will have a trouble free ride as always... keep up the excellent work you guys are doing... hopefully Harley will make a 110" Tri-glide by 2014 when i will be buying another Harley...."

"This summer (2010) I was having problems on the road with my 1999 Fatboy and was able to limp into the dealership on a Sunday (taboot) and was given the the best service. They took a look at it quickly and discovered the headgasket blew on my 113" S&S.
The guys were not able to fix it for me but they allowed me to keep the bike there over night while I made plans to trailer it back to Edmonton which was awesome and they did not even charge me for looking at it plus even helped me load the bike onto the trailer the next day.
There was no doubt in my mind when I was going to buy a new HD it would be from GA H-D. I have just ordered a 2011 Street Glide 103" and look forward to meeting some new HOG members in the spring.
It is well worth the ride from Leduc to Red Deer. Thanks GEO"

"On April 8th, my boyfriend and I came to pick up his 2010 Sportster from the dealership in Red Deer. We came to Red Deer because they were able to better equip our needs even though we live in Edmonton. Not only did they give us what we wanted, but 2 individuals stayed over 2 HOURS past closing time to help us load the motorcycle during a freak snow storm. Thank you soooo much to Debbie and Joe for everything you did that night. We have passed on our references to at least one person that has bought a motorcycle with your dealership, and plan on passing on many more. As well, thanks to Tammy who stayed late to go over all the paperwork even though she had an appointment to go to. "If you are looking for a great dealer ship to deal with the Gasoline Alley Harley is the one, I had delt with other dealerships but none of them took me very seriouse. Well I email the sales team one night while I was out of town working and the next day I was incontact with Darcy Granger (the best sales man ever), i had been dealing on a 2009 Nightster but when i actually steped foot in thier awesome dealership I found the bike of my dreams sitting right at the front door...A 2006 Softail FXST that only has 1800 kms!!! Had tones of aftermarket parts before i evern proceeded to add to it!!!! The whole experiance rather it be from Dealing with Darcy to dealing with Harley in the Finance Department to dealing with john and Len in the Parts department were awesome you can tell all these people have a real Passion for what they do!!!!! As for the Service department I have not really had a chance to deal with them but the people that i have met in that department seem just as awesome as the rest of the people I dealt with......

"Just a word on the crew at GAHD. My 09 Electra Glide started running rough as I was passing thru RD, I made it to the shop and they worked my bike into their full shop and I was back on the road.
To top off my trip, I realized I needed my 1600 km service on my way back north and stopped at the shop @ 7:30 at night to see when they opened the following day --- they were still there working on another customers bike that needed help. Barry advised me that the schedule was full the following day, but come down and see if they could work it into the shop for me. I showed up at 8:00 in the morning and they fit me right into the shop and had me back on the road again by lunch .... these guys/gals are amazing to deal with. I was told by friends to go to Gasoline Alley when I bought and now I know why !!! Thanx Barry, Melisa, Ceasar and the whole crew."

"Had stopped in your store on a saturday around noon with my buddy Chris, he introduced me to Danny the sales man.I told Danny what I was looking for, he showed me an ultra classic. Sat on it, he fired it up, I liked it. Went up stairs to where he had a good selection of colours to pick from, seen one with black pearl, that was the one. Went down stairs, Danny introduced me to Harley. Sat down did the papers up. Three hours from getting there to the time I left, I was the owner of a new harley.That same day we booked it in for a stage 1 for Sunday, if I had Insurance and reg., I could have took it home Sunday afternoon.

"I just wanted to drop you a comment about your customer service. I drove my Road King down to the dealership today to meet my buddy who was taking delivery of his new Ultra Classic. On the way there one of my highway pegs became loose and fell out of place. When I got there I mentioned it to Danny and next thing I knew Wade had left his work station no questions asked and was fixing my pegs.
Way to go guys, I know it was a minor thing to do, but I appreciated it.
